Introduction. We are all powerful multidimensional Beings pretending to be limited humans, and we have done such a good job of pretending that we see ourselves as limited humans aspiring to be powerful spiritual Beings. The dimensional shift that humanity and planet Earth are experiencing at this time coincides with the end of a 26,000-year cycle (I say more about this in Chapter 7 of the Great Shift manuscript). In the larger cosmos, a relatively small percentage of the population of third-dimensional mixed-polarity planets like Earth, actually makes the shift to the next dimensional level. One of the many unusual things about what is happening on planet Earth at this time is that a timeline shift occurred in 1987 (see also Chapter 7 of the Great Shift manuscript) which provides humanity with the opportunity to make the dimensional shift together. We might call this program "no soul left behind."
From our third-dimensional perspective, there are many different "true" ways to look at what is happening on Earth today. Anyone who is familiar with more than one higher dimensional source of information knows a similar variety of perspectives exists at that level as well! As I have come to understand it, there are many "flavors" of truth, many of which appear to be contradictory, but which are not when viewed from a broader cosmic perspective. One of my purposes in writing the Great Shift manuscript is to present many different flavors of truth, and offer many different ways of understanding what is happening. I honor them all. At the same time I have developed my own "map of the territory," or flavor of truth, which is always open to modification when new information comes to me.
There are still many on Earth today who still see themselves as limited human beings. Here I would like to offer some information that may be useful in your own path to becoming the powerful multidimensional Being that you always have been. Accept this information only if it has a flavor to your liking.
Rules of the Game. A variety of metaphors are used by higher dimensional sources to describe our third dimensional Earth existence: a school, a game, a theatrical production, an insane asylum for the galaxy. In Chapter 6 of the Great Shift manuscript I describe the theatrical production metaphor in more detail, but here I will describe it briefly. When you go to a theatrical production the actors are playing roles. The better the actor, the more real the characters seem to the audience. But no matter how much pain and suffering has been acted out on stage, the actors know that their roles are not who they really are. After the show is over, they get together and have a good time at the cast party. In the Earth drama we have become fantastic actors who have confused who we really are with the roles we have agreed to play. Remembering our soul origins is one way to free ourselves from roles we find ourselves in that seem to be limiting rather than empowering.
Our Soul Origins. First and foremost, we are all aspects of a more-than-cosmic unitary consciousness (I like that name Source of All That Is) that by definition has a nature that is beyond the comprehension of even the most "advanced" or "evolved" individuated consciousness. It seems a bit odd, but individuated consciousness that has agreed to forget its connection to the Source of All That Is, as we have on planet Earth, has an especially creative function in the cosmos. As I've come to understand it, Mother Earth agreed to serve as a galactic, intergalactic, and multidimensional melting pot for the evolution of souls (a term I will use hereafter for individuated consciousness). From the information I have pieced together from a wide variety of higher dimensional sources, our physical genetic heritage has significant influences from three or four star systems, but that we have traces from more than 200.
Our soul origins are even more diverse than our physical genetic origins. Recognizing our soul origins makes it easier for us to connect to sources of higher dimensional assistance who share our soul origins. In Chapter 9 of the Great Shift manuscript I present information about the "New Children" and " Adult Incarnated Assistance," who represent souls with different origins who have made a particular commitment to helping humanity and planet Earth make the dimensional shift. Here I offer a brief description of some of these. If you resonate with any of the soul types below, you may want to read more in Chapter 9 and check out the appropriate websites identified in Links. If you have a sense of having a soul origin that doesn't fit any of the categories below, I would like to know so I can add them to my manuscript. Please keep in mind that the "soul types" identified below are not all mutually exclusive. More than one may apply.
? The New Children. They go by many names: new breed, indigo children, blue ray children, New Age children, violet ray children, new millennium children, shift babies, star children, crystal children, rainbow children, psychic/superpsychic children, light children, and mystical children. Their soul origins are as diverse as those of adults alive on Earth today, and perhaps more diverse. In my research, it appears that there are several cohorts with somewhat distinctive characteristics: 1972-1987, 1987-2000, and after 2000. This is an interesting and challenging time to be a child and to parent children on planet Earth. For more information check out links to New Children websites.
? Adult Earth Souls. If you feel a strong connection to Earth you are probably an Earth soul, although you may well have starseed connections as well. My working definition of an Earth soul (subject to modification with new information) is one that has experienced at least 40 incarnations here. Old souls have Earth experience that dates back to Atlantis, Lemuria or earlier. Old souls may experience a thousand or more incarnations on Earth. Young souls began their experience on Earth since the fall of Atlantis some 11,000 years ago. We Earth souls (and I identify myself as one) are the ones who have primary responsibility for the human consciousness side of the Great Shift. If you are an Earth soul and have forgotten our purpose, it is time to remember!
? Adult "Other" Souls. If you feel a strong connection to Earth but don't really feel "human" you may be an elemental soul (fairy, elf, pixie, leprechaun, mermaid, dolphin, incarnated animal). If you don't feel you belong on Earth, that your real Home is somewhere else, you are probably a starseed (see links to Beneficial Extraterrestrial websites), angelic or other dimensional/vibrational soul. These other souls have chosen to come to Earth during this time to help both humanity and Earth make the dimensional shift. Many of these souls are experiencing physical incarnation on Earth for the first time and didn't quite realize what they were getting themselves into. Having forgotten their origins, they often find themselves ill-equipped to function in the rough and tumble environment of third-dimensional Earth. If you are such a soul, it is time to remember!
? Walk-Ins. A Walk-in is an unusual incarnational arrangement in which an exchange of souls occurs one or more times in the same physical body. Also, more than one soul may coexist in the same body by mutual agreement. Many Walk-ins are aware of their identify as a Walk-in from the start, but others may forget their origin and purpose. Your Soul Purpose. Everyone physically incarnated on Earth today has two basic purposes: (1) remember that we are powerful multidimensional Beings and (2) learn unconditional love for ourselves and others. Before incarnating physically, each of us also decides on a variety of lessons, agreements, contracts, missions (however you like to think of it) intended to further along our own spiritual evolution as multidimensional Beings and other multidimensional Beings with whom we have developed a special relationship (parents, spouses, children, co-workers, etc). If you are reading this right now, you have also made a special commitment to helping humanity and planet Earth make the Great Shift. For me, it was to write the Great Shift manuscript and create this web-site. If you aren't sure what your purpose is in this respect, it is time to find out. I can say from experience, it is a wonderful feeling to live in alignment with one's life purpose. This knowing can come to us in many ways, but ultimately comes from an inner sense (see Chapter 13, Finding Your Own Truth). There is also an amazing diversity of higher dimensional Beings who are willing and eager to help us accomplish that purpose (see Chapter 9, How We Are Being Helped Personally). However, an important rule of the game to know is that we have to ask for higher dimensional assistance.
