In The Absence of That Which Is Not, That Which Is, Is Not There's a two part process by which we experience and can move into the expression of who we really are. The first part of that process is a stepping away or what some eastern mystical traditions call "Detachment", its a stepping away from our individual self, our small self. The Singular Outpicturing of Universal Life that we call the S.O.U.L
We get confuse, we think that this singular outpicturing of all of it, is us. We think that these individual expressions of the universal all are who we are. The illusion is enormously powerful, and it must be, for us to accomplish what we came here to do. It's not like our burden that the illusion is enormously powerful or a kind of sentence passed on us or some kind of punsihment that we have to endure. In fact, we've made it that way, quite diliberately. Its our gift to us from us, we've made this illusion so powerful because at some level that we have imagined ourselves to be separate from All That Is in order for us to know that we are All That Is and becoming one again. Cause when we are All That Is, we cannot know that we are, because there is nothing else. In the absence of that which is not, that which is, is not.
We'll make up something. You're 6 feet tall, and you only know that you are 6 feet tall because of the presence of something that is not 6 feet tall. Things exists clearly that is not 6 feet tall. Notice that we could not experience being 6 feet tall. We can know ourselves as that conceptually, we can concieve it, we can have idea, but we cannot experience it, we cannot experience 6 feet tallness unless something is taller or shorter than 6 feet tall. If all the world is 6 feet tall, and there is nothing but 6 feet tall, 6 feet tallness would not exists, that is to say, you could not experience it. If it was the grea-*test*-('") desire in your life to experiece 6 foot tallness, you would pray for anything that is not 6 feet tall.
Give me anything, just something that is not 6 feet tall, so that i might know what it's like to be 6 feet tall. To increase the stakes abit, give me anything that is not Who I Am that i might know Who I Am. In the absence of that which you are not, that which you are, is not. Therefore, when you are in the space of that which you are not, judge not and neither condemn, yet welcome it into your space and then to the being of who you are, affect that which you are not to the expression of who you are. Know that, that which you are not, has been given to you, brought to you, that you might know who you really are. That is why it has been taugh by all the great religions in the world in one form or another, "Bless Bless Bless, those who persecute you".
