blood diets contribute to malnourishment
Hi Si Jia, I love your posts = ) This is not against you, just against this fad diet. There's been some research done that proves that these blood-type diets don't work, and not only that, they contribute to malnourishment. Taken to an extreme these diets will lead to anemia or some other diseases such as scurvy, blindness, cancers, weakened immune systems, etc due to the missing nutrients in people's diets. These blood type diets are dangerous. But then again so are the carb diets and the all rpotein diets and the nofat diets, all diets are bad. The best thing to do is to eat healthy and varied. You cannot exclude a certain food group without paying the consequnces. I'm studying Biology att the university with an emphasis on pathology and nutrition and you would be surprised at how easily many diseases can be avoided by a balanced all-encompassing diet--blindness and skin diseases especially. Many diseases in the 3rd world are due to limited diets. Best wishes, Robert
