Ah yes! I agree, especially since so many books I've been reading lately (and by that I mean three books) repeat the same thing. There's this book called "An Ascension Handbook" by Tony Stubbs in which he talks about this. He explains that everything that man does, is by previous agreement. That we all designed this experiment before incarnating, and so people that do "bad" or "evil things" to us or others are only doing so by previous agreement, because we designed what experiences and what energies we wanted ourselves to experience in this incarnation in order to gain new perspectives on matter and energy, so that Spirit/Universe/Divinity/God/Source etc may see itself from a different view point. By expressing energy in different ways (some ofthem bad) the Universe learns more about itself. The book says that when soemone does soemthing harmful that they're just fulfilling their end of the deal so we in turn should be thankful that they pulled through and granted us these experiences that we asked them to give us so we would experience them. Furthermore, the book talks about granting full forgiveness and showing gratitude to them that did us harm because it means the experiment was carried out succesfully. See, the book says that we lightbeings before becomming human designed this gutsy experiment to see how far we could get away from Spirit and still manage to find our way home, back to Source; thereby proving our love for Creator and the Creator's love for us. The experiment entailed becomming dense and more dense until we became matter and once we were matter, that we intentionally severed our memories and connection to Spirit to see how we would fend off for oursleves with nothing but our God-essence within us. So Hitler too was a being of light fulfilling his end of the deal, to bring pai nand suffering to humanity so that we would experience it because this was preagreed before incarnating. I know it might be hard to digest at first, but all of humanity are lightbeings who chose to incarnate and be part of his experiment. So Hitler was just fuilfilling his end of the deal; as have the many people that have hurt us. Pol Pot, Jeffrey Dahmer, etc. all playing a part in the experiment. Now you can't fool yourself into forgiving other or forgiving yourself. You yourself may have done harm to you by design, but it was so you would experience new things and gained new perspectives about the universe and yourself. This was all planned and prepared so that your upbringing and experiences would shape you into the optimum "chess piece" at the end of the game (which is now) and now is the time to wake up, and the experiment is over. So now the planet is ascending and everyone is ascending with it. Some fatser than others; but the point is that the experiences you chose were designed to wake you up at this time so you serve as a beacon or an alarm clock to wake up the rest of your fello lightbeings. So anyway you can't fool yourself into forgiving yourself or others (like Hitler). There has to be an appreciation and gratitude for what they made you go throguh because now you recognize that it was all by agreement; they were just fulfilling their end of the deal. So we forgive them and thank them for helping us grow. When you can show gratitude and apreciation for those who hurt you, it's a good sign that you're well on your way to ascension. I have forgiven and thanked all those who have hurt me and it's quite liberating. Not just forgiving trespasses but forgiving debt as well. It's quite freeing. One might think that letting go of debt might leave you feeling cheated, as if someone took advantage of you and now you're 4000 dollats short, etc. But you don't. You don't even miss it. It feels as if they payed you back a hundred times over what they owed you. It's liberating = ) there's no other way to put it. According to the book, an interesting outcome of the experiment is that humans (ligthbeings) intuitively knew to turn to God even though they had severed all knowledge and connection to him/her/it. Like plants that always seek the light, so too, we knew to seek the light all along. This experiment proved that no matter how distant we become from Spirit, and how dense we may become, there's always a connection to Spirit that can never be severed.
